Pe INO si alte siteuri spun ca e despre un tip care nu se stie din ce motiv, isi ucide logodnica, dar eu chiar nu ma prind  .
Eu as lua-o mai degraba ca o continuare la Early Sunsets, desi in playlist e mai sus, reprezentand momentele dupa ce loverul o omoara pe tipa ca sa nu se transforme in zombie sau etc.
Sau ar mai putea fi vorba despre doi indragostiti care mor impreuna..sincer sunt un pic confuza. Dupa întâia strofa ai clar ideea de pierdere, dar apoi zice "And then tomorrow we'll do it again". Ok, deci inca s-ar putea sa nu fi murit inca. In strofa a doua e ca si cum si-ar lua ramas bun de la cineva pe care l-a pierdut. Apoi zice "From the times that I've killed you and then ", dar poti omora o persoana in mai numeroase feluri, fata ar putea sa fie moarta doar pe dinauntru sau distrusa emotional. Iar la sfarsit mor impreuna, cu adevarat. Asta ar explica bucată cu "rice grains and roses" pe care eu o vad ca pe un ocazie romantic care se tot repeta si de accea zice "we'll do it again".
Scuze, nu cred ca am fost deloc coerenta. Daca poate cineva sa explice mai bine si sa ma scoata din obisnuita mea confuzie...e invitatul meu

uhh drowning lessons ii una dintre mel mele preferate de pe bullets, sa vedem daca am priceput-o bine.
Asa deci in primu rand trebuie sa luam I brought you my bullets, you brought me your love in ansamblu. Si e varza. Nu sunt 2 melodii care sa fie la fel. Si desi parerea generala e ca e vb despre un cuplu de indragostiti, vampiri, zombie si toate cele, defapt eu cred un pic altfel, e vorba de mai multe cupluri defapt. Sau poate de acelasi da in povesti si universe complet diferite.
Acuma sa luam drowning lessons. Sound in primu rand e diferit de restu. Suna big, and old and rock! Suna ca si ceva ce vreo trupa de underground-punk ar fi cantat prin anii 70-80, nu vi se pare ? Oricum ceea ce remarci de altfel e absenta unei chitari puternice. Este un solo mai spre sfarsit care ar necesită mentionat, dar pe parcurs nimica prea socat. Defapt intregul sound este cam plat. Curge lin si este îndeajuns de mult de cand incepe melodia si de cand incepe gerard sa cante si la fel si la sfarsit. De altfel nici vocea lui nu face variatii prea mari, chiar incepe si continua la acelasi nivel.
Acum sa trecem la versuri, adik sa trec ca numa eu vb aicea  .
Are o constructie cam strange. La inceput pare sa aiba o strofa de 4 versuri, apoi refrenu cu "a kiss goodbye ..." dupa ce face de 2 ori asa se altera constructia, mai tarziu se repeta din nou primul vers "without a soud" . Apoi apare un fel de pauza tempou se inteteste un pic, da numa in pic. Dar e trebuință de o schimbare pt ca se modifica si pers la care se adreseaza cantecul. Pana acum era un fel de naratiune sau poate monolog interior, acum totul trece la pers I si a II-a, devine adresare directa la iubita tipului. Apoi din nou o pauza si puternicul "These hands stained red", se revine la monolog/naratiune, si apoi se trece din nou la adresare directa catre cealalta persoana. Apoi se trece in nebunescul "Whitout a sound" care constitue mai intai punct culminant, apoi deznodamant.
Acum intelesul si povestea propriu-zisa. Intotdeauna am crezut ca mel asta se potriveste cu mitul alegoriei moarte-nunta. Oricum la întâia vedere pare necomplicat o crima da e mai mult. E vorba de o crima din pasiune, sau poate nici nu e crima. E pasiune si iubire criminala mai degraba. "Tomorrow we'll do it again" Ea nu poate muri de tot. Moare pe loc, e rapusa de pasiune. El o strange de gat si o trage in apa fara niciun sunet, dar poate o trage defapt intr-un sarut pasional, ahh mel asta ma face sa visez ingrozitor. Oricum asta e ideea principala, o dragoste prea inflacarata si pasionala ca sa existe, defapt asta e ideea si motivul prezent in tot bullets.
Dupa drowning lessons urmeaza our lady of sorrows, inca o dovada ca defapt loverul nu moare de tot in mel cu pricina. Se ridica in melodia urmatoare si isi continua romanta pasionala si violenta.
