Mikey Way

Mikey Way, born Michael James Way, on September 10, 1980 in Newark, New Jersey, where he grew up. He is the younger brother of Gerard Way, (whom he has a very close relationship with, and is also He is Scottish - Italian, like his brother). Way is related to Joe Rogan, Host of the NBC game/stunt show Fear Factor and former cast member of the sitcom News Radio (Joe is Mikey's mother's cousin's son).
Childhood

Growing up, Way worked for Barnes & Noble, in addition to being an intern at Eyeball Records (the company that put out My Chemical Romance's debut album, I brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love in 2002). The first concert he ever went to was a Smashing Pumpkins concert.

My Chemical Romance

Mikey is the bassist of the band My Chemical Romance and only learned bass in order to play in his brother's band, as well as dropping out of college. He plays both A Highway 1 Precision Bass, and a Fender Standard Precision Bass. Mikey was also responsible for the band's name, which came from an Irvine Welsh novel Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance. He and Gerard's grandmother happened to buy them their first tour van. During the first show My Chemical Romance played, Mikey drank a lot of liquor to mask his extreme stage fright.
Injuries

Mikey is nearsighted and is a recovering iPod junkie. He currently loves the band Anthrax, Schlock horror films, and sushi, claiming he could eat his body weight in it. Mikey has been pretty lucky, considering the only injuries he's ever gotten were liver damage, broken toes (an epic battle with a brick wall), and multiple respiratory infections, as well as being bassist in the top-charting band, "My Chemical Romance".

am cautat de mai multz vreme mess ce l-o lasat pe myspace cand s-o operat, ii funny iata-l :
"At the young age of 9 years, Michael James Way was struck with the affliction known as nearsightedness. Unable to see such things as the chalkboard, the movie screen (or anything more than 5 feet away) the lad was forced to get corrective lenses. Michael and his glasses spent many fruitful years together. They saw each other through the good times, as well as the bad. In May of 2006 this friendship came to a crashing halt. Michael's glasses met their end tragically, by way of Lasik eye surgery. The glasses leave behind two loving brothers, Ray Ban, Paul frank, and their father Chanel. Viewing times and dates will be announced shortly."

... sau... mai stii? cine stie ce planuri diabolice o fi pus la cale si Gee ca sa-l faca pe poor poor Mikey sa inv bass

pai zicea gerard intr-un interviu, natural ca nu mai stiu ce si cum si unde, ca daca mikey n-ar fi in trupa i-ar fi foarte dor de el si l-ar lua oricum in turneu, avand in vedere asta si faptu ca defapt mikey o venit cu numele, era oricum ca si in trupa, da ca sa nu stea numa pe scena si sa cante la tamburina (tre sa recunoastem totusi ca ii talentat si la tamburina), oricum mai aveau nevoie de un bassis si iacata l-o luat pe el, si daca mikey nu invata sa cante la bass probabil ca nu se intalnea cu alicia si apoi mai mult ca sigur nu se cuplau deci lucrurile o iesit numa bine pt toata omenirea

natural ca is facuti unu pt celalalt se aude ca nunta ii prin 17/27 mai, sau ceva de genu, de-abia astept (si ata nu-i spam to all the fun suckers guys around where, ii defapt stire, ca asa-i ca n-avem un topic cu stii despre ei, sau avem si nu l-am remarcat yo? posibil posibil), mie chiar mi-o parut un pic rau de mikey ca la tamburina o ajuns, pun pariu ca gee cel putin l-o necajit dupa aia o vreme cu chestia asta
